Thanksgiving Blessings!

We are SO blessed!  It's hard to believe Thanksgiving has already been here and Christmas is now around the corner!  For Thanksgiving this year, we were able to spend the weekend with my family, as Mike and Jeanna were home and Phil's family was out in CA visiting Tim and Crystal.  On Thanksgiving, we headed down to the farm to celebrate with my extended family and then came back to celebrate and spend time together at our new house.  Mike and Jeanna hadn't been here since we purchased our house in June, so we were excited to show them our new place!  The kids loved the time all together and certainly loved Darcy Dog, as she made the trip with them this time because they drove.  However, I'm sure Darcy was excited to get home to her quiet and calm house where kids weren't chasing her around, accidentally sitting on her or constantly petting her!

On Thanksgiving night, the kids wanted to wear their Christmas PJ's to show everyone.  I agreed that would be fun, as it would kick off the Christmas spirit!

We just woke up and are SO sleepy after all our Thanksgiving partying and turkey!

Fun with Darcy!  (She doesn't seem to mind the love too much!)

On Saturday night, my dad was very intense on his building with Lego's after John went to bed.
(Jeanna had already created the great house!)

We enjoyed time together and battled out a game of Scene It, to which I would like to comment I had not heard of half the movies.  I'm not sure if that's good or completely pathetic... Based on others' responses, I'm leaning toward the pathetic end!!

Still building...  :-)

Overall, we had a fantastic weekend together and completed our weekend by getting our Christmas tree!  We can't wait to get the rest of the house decorated this week!  We are so blessed to have the family we do and all God has blessed us with this year!  We're looking forward to our time to celebrate Christmas together in a few weeks, as well as our time to celebrate Matt and Beth's wedding in December and our Singewald family Christmas up north!   So much fun is to come in the next month!
