It's A.....

On June 20, we were SO excited to finally have our ultrasound and see our new little one!  We had decided that this time, we would find out the gender of the baby rather than being surprised at birth, as we were with John and Emma.  There are so many logistics involved this time with moving Emma's bedroom and repainting part of the nursery if it was going to be a boy, etc that we just couldn't do the changes with three little ones at home!

Our little one was very active during the ultrasound.  The baby loved snuggling into my uterine wall and loved having the cutest little fingers ever up by his/her face, so it made it tricky to get pictures sometimes, but we were able to get some cute ones!

Oh, whoa is me!  Left hand on forehead...

We knew we all wanted to be surprised together and we didn't want to just find out the baby's gender in the middle of the ultrasound.  We felt that was a little anti-climactic after finding out with the other two moments after birth and being able to snuggle them right away.  We had seen an idea that we thought was fun and knew the kids would love!  After the ultrasound, we went to Babies R Us and picked out two outfits - one pink and one blue.  We asked the sales clerk to open the envelope from the ultrasound, find out the gender of our new little one, and wrap the appropriate outfit so we knew which gender the baby was when we opened the gift.  The kids were thrilled when they were able to open something to find out!  We gathered with our parents and my brother, Steve, to all find out Baby's gender at the same time!

We are so thrilled to welcome our new little man into our family Oct.29 or before!  We can't wait!
